"As for the story backside my artwork, it originally started as an assignment from my art instructor to create a slice based off off of fruit.  I decided to go with "strawberry".  I'm passionate about the environment and its health, so I decided to put a twist on the word "strawberry" to accost a business that much of the internet was fussing over at the time: the issue between plastic straws and sea turtles."
